Now that it’s finally May, we can start getting excited for summer, which is especially fun at KULE this year. The story behind every collection — from Nikki’s inspiration and design to the final stages of photoshoot planning and producing — is so exciting to see come to life. We shot the collection at Ocean Beach Club in New Jersey this year. With the cabana stripes, fruit colors, and colorful crochet, the beach club was a perfect backsplash for the collection. The collection is filled with fruit-colored prints, graphics, and stripes. Nikki is always inspired by her travels, art, and design; this collection is no different.
A citrus palette cleanser! From “KULE Slice” graphics to keep the season cheery, to peachy cabana stripes that are the kulest, this group is filled with color.

And speaking of fruit… as we reach the summer months, strawberries are in season, and they will be all over the table so very soon.

And so we did just that — we had a picnic! A strawberry picnic!
I guess we have a thing for fruit 🍓 🍊 🍒
And we also have crochet! It’s the perfect material for when you want an elevated piece like a sweater that won’t make you sweat. We’ve been working with crochet for a few seasons now, and our customers love to style it alongside their other KULE pieces which we always love to see. Featuring KULE colors plus lavender and pink, we like to think of this crochet grouping as something fancy for summer.
The fun is in the process, and from inspiration to design to our carefully planned, styled, and propped photoshoots, we are always excited to show you these behind-the-scenes.
